Cosmopolitan Strangers

Series of photo installations based on the photo documentation of migrant workers from the metropolitan street corners waiting for day’s work. The scene on these street corners has much to reveal behind it. Where do they come from, where do they live, and what do they earn? Does it indicate anything on the source condition of the migration and is scale?

Trapped

These works Trapped are reframed from the installation Cosmopolitan Strangers as part of the project Hotel De Inmigrantes – Cosmopolitan Stranger, curated by Tomasz Wendland and Koen Vanmechelen, an International art project, a parallel event Manifesta 9 at Hasselt, Belgium (2012)

A photo work, stitched with 14 individual images, part of the show Zones of Contact: Propositions on the Museum, at KNMA, Noida (2013)
